Who are the real fascists? Fascism is a tool of the Democrats

Fascism is a tool of the Democrats. Robert Paxton said this in his book, The Anatomy of Fascism:

“It may be that the earliest phenomenon that can be functionally related to fascism is American: the Ku Klux Klan.”

Until the late 1960s the Ku Klux Klan was the domestic terrorist arm of the Democrat Party. The  Klan arose almost immediatley after the end of the Civil War. Decades before the rise of German and Italian fascism the Klan was engaged in intimidation and violence, operating in much the way European fascism did in the 1930s. The Klan exists today in an anemic form compared to its previous strength, but it remained the paramilitary wing of the Democrat party from its birth in 1865 into the 1960s. There was a brief and powerful Klan revival in Denver in the 1920s. Denver has almost always been a Democrat stronghold.

Nazism was a fascist movement and Nazism is socialist. Socialism is a left-wing idea and fascism is left wing. If you use the dictionary built into Apple computers you will be told that fascism is a right wing doctrine. This makes no sense. The authoritarian and socialistic pulse of fascism is pure left-wing dogma that cannot be associated with the right wing goal of free-market capitalism and libertarian government of the people, by the people and for the people. Conservative politics emanates from the idea that a government of the people will be a government limited to necessary and traditional functions for the good of the people, the main such function being to secure the liberty of the people.

Fascism has nothing to do with the liberty of anyone other the small group of criminals who rule over the people and dictate every aspect of their lives.

Jonah Goldberg has come up with the best definition of Fascism I’ve found:

“Totalitarian in that it views everything as political and holds that any action by the state is justified to achieve the common good. It takes responsibility for all aspects of life, including our health and well-being, and seeks to impose uniformity of thought and action [Gleichschaltung], whether by force or through regulation and social pressure.”

Goldberg’s definition is correct by any fair interpretation of history. It makes plainly clear that fascism in not simply left wing. It is and always has been a workable defintion of the Democrat party. The so-called “progressives” of the Democrat party give us examples of their fascism almost on a daily basis. The latest example came this week on Wednesday when a member of Moms Demand Action leader was Charged with disorderly conduct for screaming obscenities at a teenage girl for wearing a Trump T-shirt.

I’ve written at least 12 times in the past about fascism, such as at this post: Is Fascism a Right Wing Movement? Just What is Fascism?
