The Case Against Democratic Socialism

Placing an adjective before “socialism” doesn’t change it. It’s still socialism and it still leads to a rich ruling class and a poor society. Don’t tell me about Sweden or Denmark, they are not socialist. Venezuela is socialist. That’s the model we need to look at to see what socialism looks like and what it does to people. The average Venezuelan has lost 20 pounds in the last year while Madero has gained 50 pounds.
