Washington Times, Obama took credit for saving the world economy from a Great Depression Saturday during a town hall meeting with British students.
Speaking at the Royal Horticultural Halls in central London, the president said he likely wouldn’t have a full understanding of his legacy for another decade.
“I don’t think I’ll have a good sense of my legacy until 10 years from now when I can look back with some perspective and get a sense of what worked and what didn’t,” [Oh yeah? We could have told you one second after the vote tally in November, 2008 what your legacy was going to be because we’ve seen how radical Leftist polices always leave a wake of destruction.] Mr. Obama said, The Guardian reported. “There are things I’m proud of: the basic principle that in a country as wealthy as the United States, every person should have access to high quality health care that they can afford. [Now you’re being silly. Health insurance premiums and deductibles under Obamacare are through the roof]
“Saving the world economy from a Great Depression, that was pretty good,” he continued. [God, don’t let me puke on my keyboard] “The first time I came to London, in April 2009, the world economy was in free-fall, in part because of the reckless behavior of the folks on Wall Street, but in part because of reckless behavior of a lot of financial institutions around the globe. [Sorry Obama, nobody is buying this hogwash, the Great Recession, just like the Great Depression of the 1930s is all on the failure of government policies. The Great Recession is so well doumented by now you can’t fool anyone on this unless they want to be fooled. One of the best anaysis’ is Peter Wallison’s, Hidden in Plain Sight: What Really Caused the World’s Worst Financial Crisis — And Why It Could Happen Again] For us to be able to mobilize the world community, to take rapid action, to stabilize the financial markets and then in the United States to pass Wall Street reforms that make it much less likely that a crisis like that could happen again — I’m proud of that.” [Chutzpah on stilts]
This is eye-rolling stuff from the World’s Great Narcissist. Obama has been the most destructive president in history leaving the United States a laughing stock on the world stage, an explosive Middle East that will continue to threaten the world far into the future, and the U.S. laboring under a $19 Trillion national debt just about twice the level it was on the day Obama was inaugurated. Ninty-four millioin people in America are not working, the stagnant economy is barely growing at 1%, and racial strife is now worse than before the Civil Rights Era began in the 1960s. All of it is Obama’s legacy and his fault.
