Obama has been touting his jobs record in a very peculiar and specific way, citing millions of “private sector jobs” over a specific monthly time period. This video looks at the statements he makes and asks why he is being so specific about his jobs record and if that is really an accurate way of looking at the current jobs situation.

The video shows how a statement technically correct on its face can nevertheless be so deceptive it is little different than an outright lie. The video doesn’t compare Obama’s jobs claims to the decrease in the size of the workforce since he took office. If it did, Obama’s jobs claims would look even more hollow.
