Line I like the best is when Chris Wallace claims Romney trails Obama with Hispanics, and asks what Romney must do to win over Hispanics. Cruz responds that Hispanics are basically conservative in the way they live and think, family, religion, and hard work. Then he says, “When have you ever seen an Hispanic panhandler? Never. They are the most hard working people in America and they enlist in the military at a rate higher than any other demographic group.” Cruz implied that all Romney need do is stick to conservative values and he’ll be just fine with Hispanics.
