Humans the cause of the forest fire menace

In 1900 the density of the forest in the Southern Rockies was 80 trees per acre, now it’s 1,000 trees per acre. What used to be a forest is now a thicket. Fire suppression in the last century was the first cause and now it’s pine beetles and the cessation of logging due to environmental restrictions.

Many of the excess trees are dry kindling due to the Western pine beetle which is due to the banning of DDT.

Time to thin the forest, time to allow more logging.  Time to bring back DDT. Or burn baby burn, every summer until the fires do the thinning for us.

The environmentalists say the fires are natural, but its not true.  The fires now are the result of human actions resulting in fuel buildup so they’re hotter and more destructive to forests, animals and human populations than natural fires would be.
