Hope and Change — For Real This Time

As Europe descends into a debt nightmare there are legitimate concerns over whether America will follow that same path, or will American exceptionalism rescue us from the debt spiral. If public sector unions have their way America will indeed follow Greece, Spain and Italy into the abyss. Governor Scott Walker’s win in the Wisconsin recall election this week showed that voters are willing to stand up to organized labor and say, “No more.” There seems to be a new awakening taking place, and even some of our namby-pamby “moderate” politicians may learn from Scott Walker that standing up to the moochers works. We don’t have to become Europe, we actually can reverse course before it is too late.
