Gay Marriage Law Passed By Washington State Legislature Was to Take Effect Today — But That Ain’t Gonna Happen

“When voters are allowed to weigh in.” Gee, nice of them to “allow” us to weigh when someone wants to change the definition of marriage as it has existed since the beginning of civilization, at least 10,000 years ago.

If gay marriage is such a good idea why can’t the gay and lesbian lobby convince a majority of their fellow citizens? This is ultra liberal Washington state. If they can’t convince voters here how can they anywhere? Well, not even in California, or New Jersey or New York.

Clearly, Gay Marriage can only become a reality by getting liberal judges and liberal legislators to shove it down the voters’ throats. But in States with initiative, recall and referendum, the voters can fight back.
