Arrested For Blogging In Maryland

Our sacred natural rights which are protected by the U.S. Constitution can never be taken for granted. They must be constantly defended against people and institutions seeking to misuse their power. Anyone who doubts this need only follow the story of Aaron Walker who has been arrested for posting critical blog posts on his blog regarding a domestic terrorist who became known as the “Speedway Bomber” and has since become a Progressive Activist.

The story is appalling but will have a good ending because the higher courts will strike down the ruling by the thickheaded judge who victimized Mr. Walker. In the meantime Mr. Walker will suffer much anguish and sleepless nights having to deal with it all. He may or may not be compensated for this when it’s over, and even if compensation in the form of money does come it won’t make up of for the intrusion against his dignity he has suffered and will continues to suffer.

Right here in the land of the free and the home of the brave.  In the halls of “justice.”

It all reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Montesquieu:

Political liberty only exists where there is no abuse of power; it is an eternal experience that every man who holds power is drawn to abuse it; he will proceed until he finds the limits.”
