If sex selection abortion is a moral choice, what other situations would it be a moral choice to abort a baby because it is likely to have characteristics the parents don’t want? The gay/lesbian lobby insists that homosexuality is genetically determined. If genetic testing indicates the baby will be homosexual and the parents don’t want such a child, will Planned Parenthood do the abortion? If genetic testing indicates the baby will have a propensity toward obesity, will PP agree to that abortion?. More examples are nearly endless. The answer to the question in every case will be “yes” because PP’s official position is that they do not pass judgment on the mother’s reason for having an abortion.
