I’ve said many times here that Romney may not fully understand just what is in store for him from the Obama attack machine. Now that it is a certainty he will be the nominee the attack has begun, and it’s not going to be confined just to Romney. They will go after his wife as well, and probably his dog as before it’s over. Here is Hillary Rosen going after Ann Romney for “not working a day in her life.” As if Obama himself has ever worked a day in his life…

Ann Romney responds, “Does she think women at home don’t work?”

“Romney is old fashioned about women,” seems to be the line the Obama machine is going to try out on us. It’s probably been extensively focus-grouped and found to be effective with the sorts of people who volunteer for focus groups, which has to be people without much else to do.

The Obama machine could be making a mistake by focusing too much on Ann Rommey. I find Ann Romney to be likable, and since I don’t like anyone very much I think that’s a good recommendation for her. A lot of people are going to like Ann Romney, is my prediction.

The Obama attack machine will be looking for soft targets since Obama’s record is so abysmal not even he can run on it with a straight face. Well, maybe he could but I bet his advisors will try to steer him clear of it.
