The video below deserves to be widely viewed. Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson grills HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on the projected cost of Obamacare and ticks off the broken promises that Obama made with respect to Obamacare. In doing so he gets his message on the record and shows Republicans how to fight back against Democrats. Other Republicans should pay attention to this and try to emulate it. They might actually learn how to become effective for their constituents.

Sebelius says she’s not aware of any waivers even though it is her agency in the Obama administration that has given out over 1,000 waivers to employers such as McDonalds for the Obamacare requirements in employer paid health insurance. The employers got the waivers by pleading they would otherwise have to drop the insurance they provide their employees. But the HHS secretary says she’s not aware of any waivers.

The truth is twofold. Sibelius doesn’t know, and she does-not-care. She might as well say that not only did we have to pass Obamacare to find out what is in it, we now have to implement Obamacare in order to find out how much it’s going to cost. This even though every Democrat who voted for this monstrosity swore on high that they were voting it for only after CBO assurances of the cost. Funny how just about everyone knew at the time that was a crock. It needs to be repeated again and again, and Senator Ron Johnson is doing just that.
