A Conflict of Visions — Constrained v. Unconstrained

A Conflict of Visions by Thomas Sowell is one of the best books on political and economic philosophy ever written. The video below by Bill Whittle is a great introduction to the book.

“Solitary, Poor, Nasty, Brutish and Short,” are the words of Thomas Hobbes (1588-1679) which he coined as part of his philosophical insight into the natural world. It’s not, as I first thought, the name of a law firm.
